I doubt the GOP is going to win this thing, I hope we do not get too emotionally invested in this one.
The fact that there's virtually ~0~ statewide MSM publicity guarantees that the Dem. turnout --- always low on a "Special Election"--- will be miniscule.
It sets up a favorable situation for activated, energized conservatives (independents and GOP's), flying under the radar, to win--- actually win --- on a very small vote.
