He’s got a lot of nerve, joking about being fat.

There are few jobs more useless than movie critic. As if their opinion is more valuable than anyone elses.

Tell Ebert to have another Ding-Dong and STFU.

I thought this jacka** died long ago. How someone in his situation, with all his life threatening health issues and procedures done to save him, can say what he said about Rush defies comprehension.

“”Rush: Hawaii is the only country where the Hawaiian shirts....”

.
Hmmm, Hawaii is a country? Is that the reason that 0’s BC is off limits?

Roger A+Bert ought to stick to movie reviews.

Except he's not very good with those either.

Roger made a career out of being the "brainy one" in contrast to Gene Siskel, the average guy who liked the popular stuff.

But when you look at Roger's reviews lately, he way overrates the popular stuff. It's like a movie only needs to have a big name in it to win his approval.

Why is there a need to interject politics in movie reviews? No need to answer, just a rhetorical question.

A lot of people become film critics because they wanted to be film stars -- or more correctly, film makers.

It's the same kind of "Look at me! Look at me!" attitude, but the critics are people you really don't want look at, and you don't really want to look at the kind of movies they'd make, either.

If they keep at it long enough and critics start to think that people are interested in everything you have to say, even your political opinions.

Plus, for critics and political junkies, what you don't like, what you disdain, determines who you are and how valuable your opinion is, so it's not hard to move from one category to the other.

If Roger Ebert would get his head out of his ass, he’d have noticed that Rush lost his weight years ago.

Ebert had a blog last month that said Christians should be barred from political office.

Better yet, show a recent picture of Rush and his hot girl friend. End of story!

1. Ebert seems obsessed with Rush's sexuality.

2. Ironic that Ebert makes fun of someone else's physical ailments and the aftermath of treatment. As I've aged, I've tried to avoid this as to political opponents, e.g., Chelsea and Hillary Clinton, etc., because it really is irrelevant how someone LOOKS in the arena of political ideas. BUT SINCE YOU BROUGHT MEDICAL ISSUES UP, ROGER, fair's fair, and your own medical history hasn't exactly left you looking like Troy Donahue yourself, buster:

Ebert and his wife Chaz in November 2007

I wish Ebert well in the aftermath of his thyroid- and salivary-gland surgery years ago, as I do Rush with his medical issues.

He is still alive, but his career died with the far classier Gene Siskel (RIP).

Isn’t Ebert dead yet? He is at least dead from the neck up.

For someone who wrote the screenplay for that “Academy Award nominee”, “Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls”, he should be more careful who he criticizes.

Ebert’s list for the decade was remarkably bad. He didn’t even pick good small films for his list.

This guy is so irrelevant. It really sucks to be Roger Ebert.

The foregoing thought has been in my mind since the very first time, and that was the last, I saw him and his late partner completely miss a critique of a movie! SHEESH!
