The Reformed position, more or less, is that it is impossible for ANY man to redeem himself; indeed, it is ONLY the work of the Holy Spirit, initiating grace in the unregenerate mans heart. No man will seek Christ of his own accord.heck, I don't know any of the theory behind Christianity. I'm only a believer that there is a God, that he sent Jesus to us and that by his dying he somehow made a payment for my soul. I hope and pray daily that I can somehow find my way to honor his gift, but everyday I fail, dust myself off and try again. I just hope and pray that God helps me find a way to help me honor him and all that he's given me.
I can't imagine the temptations that Tiger had, with all the money, fame and adoring women. All of this since he was a teenager.... I doubt very seriously that I wouldn't have done the same thing or worse.... I am no saint and can easily see how the devil could have allowed pride to work it's evil magic.
