FRANKFORT – Former presidential candidate Steve Forbes is to endorse Rand Paul’s Republican campaign for U.S. Senate, Paul’s campaign manager, David Adams, said Monday.

Adams said the campaign will issue a news release Tuesday about Forbes’ endorsement.

Forbes was a Republican candidate in the presidential primaries in 1996 and 2000. He primarily ran on a campaign to establish a flat income tax. Forbes also is editor-in-chief of business magazine Forbes.

This is Rand Paul, Ron Paul’s son.

I think they are both insane and now I think Forbes is insane too.

Rand Paul is more hawkish on foreign policy than his father.
Bill Johnson doesn't stand a chance. Paul has the momentum and the grasroots support, and he's just as conservative as Johnson. Time for Johnson to get out of the race.

Billy Boy just loaned himself $250,000, mostly because he can’t raise any money from anyone else. He ain’t going anywhere. He ain’t going to come within a mile of winning either though. He’ll lose with like 5% of the vote on May 18th and that’ll be that.

Needless to say, Greyson is a carpetbagger sent in by the political bosses.

Paul may be the best choice here and if Forbes thinks so, that means something.

I’m wanting to see who the great national GOP supports.

Newt, who are you, Steele and McCain supporting so I can send money to the other guy?

McCain supports Trey Grayson and attended a $500-a-plate D.C. fundraiser for Grayson on September 23rd.

"attended a $500-a-plate D.C. fundraiser for Grayson on September 23rd".

Heck, thats cool, Grayson probably raised at least 500.00 dollars that night, unless of course McCain was comp'ed.
