Have to disagree, lonestar. I think Jerry Jones supports his coaches and players very well. He just cuts them loose when they fail to perform or cause problems (Terrell Owens for example). ....Steinbrenner who owns the Yankees is probably the most overbearing owner of a sports team, but considering what enormous salaries he pays the players and coaches I can’t say that I blame him. It’s his money that he uses to try to buy the World Series every year.

Mike Leach is being crucified in the press. From TV news and articles I’ve read, the James kid showed up on the sidelines in street clothes and shades during practice. The coach had the trainers take him to a darkened training room and there were a couple of trainers in the room with him. It was to keep him out of the bright light since he had a concussion. .....That’s my understanding of the situation.

Tom Landry? That's why I hate JJ....that, and he made fun of Dallas and Texas when he bought the Cowboys.

I haven't like the Cowboys since JJ bought the team

I loved when Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson had their clash of the egos...and Johnson quit.

Jerry Jones is an obnoxious jerk in my book.

I agree with your Leach opinion. My guess is that Leach had had all he could take from that little James a$$hole and his father who was always calling.
