Officials had surreptitiously placed different bomb components in the check-in luggage of nine passengers to see if security screeners would spot the contraband. Benny Hill used to say that the chances of there being a bomb on a plane were a million to one. And the chances that there are TWO bombs on a plane are a million TIMES a million to one.
