Consider the spectacular brazenness required to effect such a claim, when the opposition party was all but shut out of negotiations, while legislative language affecting every American citizen was crafted in closed-door sessions and then voted on after midnight on a holiday eve.
Now, consider the intention of people in positions of great power who act in such a manner. Nothing good can come of it.
