The biggest recruiting tool that Al-Qaeda has had since 9/11 is the election of Obama as president in 2008. Nothing emboldens the enemy as much as a weak president and one who has already announced to the world and to Al-Qaeda that America is the problem with the world.

According to Obama, Bush should've closed the Gitmo prisoner camp even before 9.11 occurred. Obama has no credibility in the war-on-terror at all. Al-Qaeda is counting on his naivete.

well, Bush started housing terror detainees there after the war started against Afghanistan in 2001 and we needed someplace to send the POW’s

Actually, just to set the record straight, Bush opened Gitmo in 2006 for the detention of terrorits. Al Qaeda was formed sometime between 1988 and 1990.

If someone has better dates, I will glady stand corrected.

Either way, Obama gets an F in history.
