military votes not counted
Not if a stay is granted pending review.
Proportionately more blacks are in prison because proportionately more blacks commit felonies.
What part of this proposition is beyond the reasoning abilities of the 9th Circus?
Guy who wrote the opinion, from Wiki:
In 1980, President Jimmy Carter nominated Tashima to a seat on the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Tashima served for fifteen years on the district court before he was then elevated by President Bill Clinton to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 1996. Tashima assumed senior status on June 30, 2004.
I don’t think the assumption that a majority of convicted felons would be Democrat voters. In fact the basis of the idiot decision in this case is that blacks and other minorities are so overrepresented in the convicted felon population, that the only way to avoid an offense to their voting rights is to allow them to vote. Experience shows that blacks particularly vote overwhelmingly Rat.
Ergo, the comment is not stupid.
Do you think you are typical convicted felon, as a die hard conservative? I doubt that.
