Abuse of power . . . impeachment time

My Dad was a felon. I think the only thing I ever saw him get choked up over was his inability to vote. Oh, its not that he did not regret his crime but he said losing his privilege to vote cut to the quick.

There are so many prisons in Walker County Texas that they’ll be able to elect one of themselves a judge & release everybody.

A felon should at least serve their time and pay restitution to those they have harmed before any rights are restored.

You will only be allowed to vote if you are a certain minority.

9th circus on the loose again. This will be over turned on appeal.
Sotomayor ruled in favor of a similar case in New York.

I don’t think you can vote in Texas even if you’re just on probation. I could be wrong. I would hope that our laws prevent a convicted felon from holding an elected office.

another fine example of total disregard of the Constitution.
Figures it's in Washington, after all proven voter fraud was disregarded and thrown out of court in their last Governor election. Guess they will need to make up the votes that are lost due to Acorn and replace them with CRIMINAL voters!
There was darn good reason the framers said NO VOTE to felons. Looks like thats been shreaded along with many other provisions of the Constitution.
IF they want them to vote it should be limited to State elections AND exclude them from voting for Congress crud and the Seniorators.

“If SCOTUS agrees to hear the case.”
The 9th Circuit decision was by a panel of 3 judges-the petitioner can ask for review en banc, which would be by all 23 judges.
