Not defending them, but I must confess that if the news today said that Pelosi, Reed or Obama had been rushed to the hospital with chest pains, I’d CERTAINLY be thinking the same nasty thoughts about THEM these bloggers have expressed. My prayers to God, however, would not be that they die, just that they not be able to continue working in the govt. and destroying our freedoms.

That said, prayers for Rush!

There's a difference, and it's an important one. Pelosi, Reed and Obama are in positions of power and public trust. They can raise your taxes, throw you in jail, confiscate your property, and do anything else that the power of the government can do when brought to bear on its citizens. Some would argue that their actions have even crossed into the shadow of treason.

Rush is an entertainer and a private citizen. Any of us, or all of us, can simply not turn on his show and he ceases to have any power over our lives, good or bad.

I am not encouraging anyone to hate anyone else, but there's a difference between hating someone who is actively attacking your liberty and finances, and hating someone just because you think he might disagree with you.

There are two differences.

1. If a major illness struck one of the Left’s major players we might hope for the worst to happen for them, but we wouldn’t be so crass as to come out and say “I hope so-and-so dies... soon, and painfully.” Witness the reaction here when “The Lion On The Senate” FINALLY stopped sharing our air.

2. The biggest difference is that the Left are traitorous PIGS who deserve whatever misery fate has in store for them. Rush doesn’t. He’s a good man. He loves his country, helps people, and gives all of us focus and food for thought on a near daily basis. If something bad happened to one of the major RATS, I wouldn’t feel any worse than if I were living in the ‘40’s and something bad happened to Hitler. So have no guilt wishing the worst for them... because they surely deserve it.
