How many Stalinists do we need in the Senate, anyway?
What a shame. He has such an image as a crime fighting advocate for the little person he will probably win easily. I wonder if Rep Chris Murphy or anyone else will challenge him. Senate seats don’t become available too often for Dems in this state so maybe some will see it as their best chance for a while, though sure many will want to take on Lieberman in 2 years.
This will be the first election here since at least the 1940s with senate and gubernatorial races and no incumbent running. That’s a bit of trivia for the poli sci buffs.
