Televised “Show Trial” on Proposition 8?
Volokh Conspiracy ^ | 1-06-2010 | Paul Cassell

Posted on 1/6/2010, 4:09:11 PM by freedomwarrior998

Over at NRO, Ed Whelan has been following some bizarre manuevering by the federal district court judge in the Northern District of California who apparently is trying to have a televised “show trial” regarding Proposition 8.

Without getting into the merits of Proposition 8 or the legal challenges to it, I agree with Whelan that it seems highly unusual for a judge to authorize televised proceedings for this particular case as part of some new “pilot” project to see how televised proceedings work. Surely if there were going to be a test run of a new idea, it should be in a more run-of-the-mill case rather than this particular highly controversial one. Moreover, it does appear that public comment process has been completely short-circuited.

Folks, the homosexuals have been bragging that this piece of filth is a homosexual himself. He's all but declared that he is going to unilaterally overrule the votes of more than 13,000,000 California voters who weighed in on this issue.

I can't see how this vermin hasn't been removed from the case. He's opposed the folks defending Prop 8 at every turn, going so far as to openly campaign for the Ninth Circuit to overturn one of the orders that it made against him in the case.

Yes folks, even the ultra-left Ninth Circuit slapped down this out of control maniac.

More coverage here.

Folks, we are on the verge of seeing another out of control federal judge overrule the will of the people.

How many times is this going to happen?

I’m afraid the attitude and actions of “this out of control maniac” describe more than a few in the judiciary/oligarchy.

Sooner or later the people will rebel—and it won’t be pretty.

Millions of Californians weighed in on this issue. Many invested their own hard earned money and time to exercise their rights as citizens.

The United States Supreme Court has already ruled that States can limit marriage to one man and one woman (albeit in a summary decision).

One homosexual maniac is going to overturn the will of the people via fiat, without any basis in the law.

One man with the sweep of his hand can tell 13,000,000 voters that what they say doesn't matter.

How is that Freedom? We are living in a dictatorship.

“I can’t see how this vermin hasn’t been removed from the case.”

Possibly an indicator of the amount of intimidation the Leftist queers have caused within the ranks of the California legislative crowd, or it could also mean that the Leftist Bureaucrats that are entrenched within the system are gay as Hell as well.

Either would mean a campaign against the Legislative cowardice, or a campaign questioning the sexual perspectives of the legislative body, of which are almost all Democrats could create havoc amongst that crowd.

The Republicans should speak up, and take action NOW if they aren’t RINO’s.

I thought AGW was the most important issue?

Televised “Show Trial” on Proposition 8?

The perverts are overreaching again. Their less-militant members are better educated, intelligent and know better.
Even the ACLU warned them to avoid That.

The fallout cuts both ways.
Prior discussions involving supporters resulted in widespread hate mail, calls, newspaper reports and attacks on individuals and businesses, all attacking opponents of the redefinition of marriage.

This time, they should get a taste of their own medicine, with a vengeange.

"Playing nice" has not worked; it will never work.

Being left alone is clearly not their goal.

I say identify all gays who serve the public at large and if they own businesses, make sure that they are exposed and harrassed and bankrupted, if possible.

What's good for the pervert...
