Use of word Negro on 2010 census forms raises memories of Jim Crow

This is a tactic. While it's never acceptable to use deliberately insulting terms to describe a race, when they went from colored to black to Afro-American to African American to People of Color it became apparent that the point was to keep people walking on egg shells.

I had a liberal pull this on me one time when I used the term "illegitimate kid." He started shouting and saying that it was a terrible term and the child didn't have anything to say about the circumstances of his birth and I should never use the term illegitimate child. I told him I didn't mean to offend the little bastard. There wasn't any child around, BTW, it was just his way of trying to throw a basketball on the chess table of the discussion.

Personally, I think the left adopted this tactic from the Muslims. This is a very common tactic of theirs. I had a buddy that worked with one of the oil companies and one of the things you could count on was that at the close of negotiations something would happen and they would be horribly offended and walk away from the table and it would take additional concessions to bring them back to finish the deal.

It doesn’t matter what they’re called. Eventually, whatever the term, it becomes a pejorative, and they don’t want to be called it anymore.

If they are offended by the question, then don't answer it. The Feds are only entitled to ask how many people live at the residence anyway; plus they will get the bonus of being able to give a multicultural education to the census worker who will come to followup.

I haven’t seen Avatar, but there seem to be some blue beings in that movie.
