You be bad!!! :)
What absolute buffoons.
Negro is a race, Caucasian is a race, there is nothing insulting or racist in them, they are the technical names for particular races.
Being insulted by them is beyond stupid.
DOUBLE Facepalm.
"African" is a nationality, not a race. Charlize Theron is a South African, but she is not a Negro.
Many Americans are of the Negro race, but are not African. Most have never set foot in Africa.
As usual, political correctness has distored the plain meaning of perfectly good words.
Teresa Heinz Kerry is an African American.
“If someone wishes to be offended, they will be.”
Is that how it goes? I believe so.
Seems the noisiest are those looking in every crack, around ever corner, under every table, and on top of every ledge for an offense they can protest, and sue over.
It’s not a “cottage industry.”
Another example of what “hope and change” could be with Tort Reform.
Sorry that the word offends you, Ma'am. It's the correct name for your race.
Get over it.
Interesting indeed. And didn't he claim to be "Indonesian" at one time for college admissions?
RE: “Werent they called Afro-Americans in the 70s?”

Yes, and where I worked the dress code rules fell apart in the 70’s and many of ‘those’ women wore skirts up to their crotches, those huge afro or ‘natural’ hairdos, and low slung belts on their hips made from bullets. I am NOT kidding.
I don't mean to be mean, but. Is this silly?
Race is only important to the government so who or what is the racist?
Are there native Hawaiians who came out of the volcano?
Most of the whiners probably think Africa IS a country.
Re: America is the only place still using the racist (and junk science term) Caucasian to describe white people.
What is the accepted term these days?”

“Cracker!”
1973 here. So that would put us in grade school about the same time.
I had a Social Studies teacher, an older Southern lady, who pronounced it 'Niggra'. Even at that young age, It always raised my eyebrow when she said that. We had quite a few Black students that were bused in from somewhere, and not a peep from anyone about this curious pronunciation.
Ubama's mother and grandparents
It is my belief that “African-American” is not a racial definition at all.
It is a political party affiliation.
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
The black, brown, colored, negro, african-american, afro people can't make up their minds.
Even the ones who are only 20% "black, brown, colored, negro, african-american, afro" can't decide if they are "black, brown, colored, negro, african-american, afro."
