That might be the case now but it wasn’t back when I was a teenager. When I was a teenager, many states had provisions for 14 yo girls (and even younger) to get married w/ a judge’s consent. There’s nothing “Southernphobic” about stating that.

Getting a little sensitive and thin-skinned, aren’t we? It seems to be a common trait among “birthers”.

Has nothing to do with being a birther. Has everything to do with being Southern. The fact that you made it a “southern” thing shows your bias and your ignorance. I don’t know if you are an elitist, stupid or just evil, but if you think other people are better than southerners simply because of archaic laws vs the “acceptable” practice of statutory rape in other places WITHOUT marriage then you are simply wrong.

Yes. I’m thinned skin. It would be sort of like me saying South Korea is a nation of pedophiles because the age of consent is 13. How thick is your skin...jerk.
