The moral of this tall tale: Framing innocent motorists is a bad thing
It took nearly a year, but the Hollywood cops responsible for trying to pull a fast one on an innocent motorist looks like they are about to lose their jobs.
Hollywood Police Chief Chad Wagner reportedly sent pink slips to five officers involved in a lame-duck attempt to frame Alexandra Torrensvilas in February for a traffic accident that one of the boys in blue actually caused. Officers Joel Francisco, Dewey Pressley, Sgt. Andrew Diaz and civilian community service officer Karim Thomas were all placed on administrative leave after the incident, but there was no way they were going to "Walt Disney" their way out of this one. Crime scene technician Andre Tomossi has also been implicated in the plot. All the evidence of the frame up was recorded on Francisco's dashboard cam in his police cruiser.
On Feb. 17, Francisco, an 11-year- veteran of the force crashed into the back of Torrensvilas while she was at a stop light. Instead of taking blame for the accident, Francisco and Pressley pressed Torrensvilas into saying she had been drinking and then they immediately booked her for a DUI.
Then with the help of the other officers, Pressley said he would pull a "Walt Disney" and make up a story about a cat jumping out of Torrensvilas' window, distracting the drunk driver, who then put her car in reverse to hit the police cruiser.
"As far as I'm concerned. I'm going to put words in his mouth. She went to accelerate and a cat jumped out of the window at which point he thought it could have been a pedestrian, which distracted him," Pressley tells Diaz, another veteran of the force. "I mean what's the chances of hitting a f---in drunk when a cat jumps out of the window?"
The charges were eventually dropped against Torrensvilas. Maybe the officers will get a chance to work for Walt Disney after all. We hear the Dumbo ride at Disney World is hiring.
Glad she is getting some justice. Next bet is how much money she is going to get when she sues these low-lifes.
Wonder if he's related to Rollo?
Hope this girl wins the litigation lottery.
I expect other police to learn a lesson from this ... erase the dashboard video.
You think this story about Florida cops is bad read this one and watch the video!

Just smile nervously, apologize profusely, and hope that she signs.
This young lady appears to be a sport’s fan. There are either croquet wickets or goalposts in her eyes.
Sorry - still guilty of DUI. If she cannot handle facing a camera, she deserves time, for sure.
Read the story again:
She was pressured into admitting to drinking then arrested for DUI, just to cover their butts. All charges were dropped. She was probably stunned in the wreck.
Makes too much sense, so they will probably try to get out cheap, go to trial and end up paying millions.
Her car gets hit by a cruiser, more show up, five cops lie and frame her, she gets arrested, cuffed, booked, jailed and she’s supposed to look like who, Doris Day?
That's the look of terror and confusion at being framed for a crime she didn't commit by the very people we entrust to serve and protect.
