I wish Brown well but in a state that runs 3 to 1 in favor of DemocRATS, I’m not going to hold my breath.

Brown has a great chance in this special election - the only race on the ballot - and the Kookley is running an awful campaign for an awful candidate, versus a fine candidate running an exceptional campaign. In the middle of the winter, this will soon turn on GOTV and the weather. The alternative for this seat held by a communist for a half-century is a woman to the left of the swimmer. Scott is clearly to the left of Demint - not gonna get a Demint here in MA, but I can safely say he is to the right of Collins, Snowe, McPain, and Gramnesty.

No one is asking you to hold your breath, nor, for that matter, are they requesting your best wishes. They’re asking for money. Can you spare a few cups of coffee and send him 5 bucks?

Yes, but there is a huge block of independents, so the electorate is not 3 to 1 in favor Democrats, only those who have registered for a given party. Democrats are outnumbered by independents and Republicans and there are more conservatives then liberals in Massachusetts according surveys. So, say 3 to 1 is an exaggeration of the odds.

It's actually less than 2 to 1 (37% to 21%). Indies are number one with 42%.
