My shocker prediction:

Fort Hood and Flight 253 were related and part of a wider ongoing terrorist operation.

No doubt. The Forst Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan was in direct and constantcontact with Al Qaeda in Yemen through the islamic terrorist cleric Anwar Al Awkali. The Detroit plane terrorist was trained in Yemen and the terrorist attack was planned by Al Qaeda in Yemen.

In the press release by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (Yemen and Saudi Arabia) they took responsibility for the Detroit plan terrorist attack and they called terrorist "Nidal Hasan" a "Moujahed Brother" and asked soldiers serving in the US military to follow his footsteps.
