As I understand it, it comes from Obama's stash. And there's plenty there for everyone. All the states and all the people will be able to go to him and get all the free money they want.
Doesn’t this idiot know that SOMEONE has to pay?
How many trillion will that cost, Ben?
Just run the printing presses (a la Bernake, “we have a wonderful invention - the printing press - to take care of any money problem” (a liberal revision to Bernake’s conceit - but I think it captures it)). Not to worry!
His home town, McCook Nebraska is erecting a bronze statue in his honor that was actually planned before these votes. The won't have any problem keeping the grass around it watered.
If you think it’s a budget-buster now, just wait until all 50 states get the same kind of deal Nelson got.
How ironic-sold his soul and ended up with bupkus anyway.
Nothing mentioned here that the exemption for NB was for all time - FOREVER! Who knows how long forever is the way things are going in this country under 0.
Diane Feinstein said that she got CA $165 million as part of the healthcare reform deal also. Why hasn’t CA been mentioned along with the other states that received special treatment? She said it after Arnold announced he no longer supports the bill.
IF all these amounts AREN’T ADDED to the cost of the bill - I was going to say what SHOULD happen but I don’t even know at this point what that should be. They should all lose their jobs - sure - but that doesn’t go far enough! What’s our recourse?
A trillion here, a trillion there, what’s the big deal. Sell our debt to the third world, make them feel good and like us when they loose it all.
What an idiot.
If an “exemption” is extended to “all,” it is no longer an “exemption.” It is simply a tax paid by all.
LOL. Oh boy, it’s possible Senator Casey (aka: Dumb-As-A-Box-Of-Rocks) has met his match.
