Oh I’m so glad to see that someone on “Free Republic” has it! My Dad saw it last night on one of the “Fox News” shows, and he found it on “You Tube”. My Mom had seen it at the same time, and she was giggling about it too! So he played it for me; it was hilarious!

Most if not all our family are big fans of Ray Stevens, and have been for many years. We used to have a couple of video tapes of many of his song videos. I’m surprised that they hadn’t heard the one he made of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina! It was not to mock the situation there, or most of the people and sad situations.

It was to mock the behavior of some of the celebrities and political leaders, the looters, protest groups, etc. and the things they said! I think the video can be found on “You Tube”, in the section where the old Johnny Horton classic is found. In fact it is titled- “The New Battle Of New Orleans”, and uses the tune of Johnny Horton’s older song. (I hope it’s still there, unless it was removed since then)That’s a scream too!

Ray S. has come out with a couple of new songs in the last few years. He’s been on a couple of “Fox News” shows in the last several months. One of them may have been S. Hannity’s show, and M. Huckabee’s too. I hadn’t heard hardly any of his work for a long time. He had a song that came out after we went into Afghanistan; then there didn’t seem to be anything at all from him. I thought he had retired or maybe was sick or something!
