Either they are finally fed up just as much as we are...OR... they realize now with everything else a growing backlash against ISLAM here is reaching critical mass and they don’t want to lose their opportunity to take over our country.
The bottom line is ISLAM is mostly incompatible with American values, our culture and our way of life. Any overbearing religion is going to have problems in a free country.

Islam is incompatable with everything that did not exist in the 7th century. “If something is mentioned in the koran, then it is superfluous and therefore not needed; if something is not mentioned in the Koran, then it is anathama and therefore must be destroyed.” - a quote from an 10th or 11th century caliph.
