During Fridays hearing, robbery Detective E. C. Pate testified that the teen laughed and giggled when a magistrate read the charge being levied against him and took offense when he was referred in legal documents as a “child.”
“He didnt feel that he was a child,” Pate testified.
By the time you’re 16 and planning premeditated violent robberies, you’re a guilty adult, and a future Democrat.
Where do you breed assholes like defense attorneys Chad Lee and Jonathan Simpson? THEY should be tried...
Had Mr. Rein been a member of my family there would be four well-ventilated teeangers.
Agreed
Indeed, population decrease by 4.
Satan can be seen throughout this story.
I often agree but that is not our system of justice. Ours is an adversarial systems rather than one designed to find the truth no matter what. The advocates of our system say it is the best way to find the truth.
I’d bet we’re all thinking the same thing:’another aspiring rap star trying to turn his life around.’
I get so tired of this crap I could hurl.
Any pictures of the judge, the perp and the victim?
Hey!!!!! I just realized something!! Mr Rein’s alive!! :)
This story could be worse.
Gee, might there be a RACAL COMPONENT to the story??? Any of U locals know?
This kid should be under detention until he is 18, at which time transfer this POS to a prison for a few years.
They had also pointed out that a psychological exam raised concerns about the teens maturity and sophistication.
How much maturity and sophistication does it take to bash a 66 year old man in he face with a ball bat?
"BATTER UP!"
“I often agree but that is not our system of justice. “
I understand the “legal system” thanks...but it has no relationship to justice anymore. They already said they did it///put them away, because these savage little prcks will be beating someone elses head in next month, when they get released into “treatment>”
There is not enough money on the planet for me to try to get these bstrds back on the street. And anyone who would be diligent in making it happen should...I won’t say it.
“The teens probation officer, Lupita Martinez, provided a glimpse into the teens home life and past criminal history during the hearing.
In 2007, the teen was sentenced to one year of probation for throwing bricks from a bridge onto oncoming traffic.
In September, he was accused of resisting arrest for scuffling with an officer at school but was not prosecuted in lieu of the robbery case.
Martinez said the teens mom works two jobs to support her family and his father is in prison. As a result, the boy is frequently left alone and often would not attend school, she said.
Since his detainment, the teen has been at times disrespectful and disruptive, once flooding his room and recently being caught with two screws in his room that he described as a “shank.”
Martinez said he has also reportedly discussed wanting to escape and said she has concerns that he is a danger to the community.
Throughout the hearing, the teens hands were handcuffed and attached to a belt around his waist.”
Exactly. And THAT fact alone should be the determining factor as to whether to try this animal as a adult, or a child.
