A political scandal riveting Northern Ireland has a certain cinematic feel: an affair by 58-year-old woman named Mrs. Robinson with a 19-year-old male lover.
Five separate Facebook groups with hundreds of followers have sprung up, lampooning the affair and comparing it to the 1967 film, "The Graduate."
But there is a serious side to the story of Iris Robinson, who also happens to be a member of Parliament and the wife of Peter Robinson — Northern Ireland's government leader.
The BBC reported that Iris Robinson allegedly solicited 50,000 pounds ($80,000) from businessmen so her young lover could open a restaurant — without disclosing the fact to lawmakers.

That poor woman is leading a life devoid of anything worthwhile, while her husband's off playing Captains of Industry. The (obvious) fling with the young man isn't really helping matters, to the contrary it's just getting him all mixed up in it too.
It's gonna work out tragically for her in the end.
Oh, the tragedy and the angst... give it an oscar.

That used to be conventional wisdom but the reason it is easy for the Left to corrupt our morals and destroy our society is they prey upon our physical weaknesses. It turns out that women have the same desires as men and their sexual appetite actually increases with age rather than diminishes.
I am a seventy-one year old male with a number of attractive female friends in the late thirties, early forties range. We have candid conversations because they see me as a father figure and counsellor rather than a romantic interest.
Several have expressed the fantasy of teaching a young boy the facts of life. Some have also temporarily left longtime stable marriages seeking better sex. That used to be strictly a male domain with the nickname "middle age crazy." After they have been out in the real world long enough to see the emptiness of such a life some return to forgiving husbands. Other husbands are not so forgiving so they are on their own with children in a no longer exciting life.
Our society has truly changed and long held biological truths don't always hold.
Remember back to when women at 36 were ‘has-beens’ in Hollywood? ;)

You must have left off an "irony alert" here. Your attitude is as much a part of amoral modernity as what you condemn.
Many Democrat "fixes"are strictly for public consumption rather than real world effect. Look at all of Obama's policies.
#42 seemed to never see a terrorist attack despite flight 800, the Murrah Building in OKC, two American Embassy bombings and the attack on the USS Cole. Any time our forces had Osama in their sights they had to get permission to take him out directly from #42. Somehow, they could never find him.
He sought to avoid tough political decisions, especially those affecting the Left or the Muslim terrorists. The IRA problem is the same one Slick avoided while in office, Communists and their efforts to disrupt and destroy Western Society.

I wasn’t discussing theology, I was addressing human sexuality, and liberal politics (feminism).

She’s a member of the conservative (but anti-Catholic perhaps to the point of bigotry) DUP. The other Unionist party the UPP is officially tied to the Tories but they are very CINO, their 1 remaining MP has voted with Labour most the time. The 2 nationalist parties are the leftist SDP and extreme far left Sinn Fein. In other words Northern Irish politics suck.
