"...With her husband, she could be intensely affectionate or brutally dismissive. At times subtly, at times blatantly, she was forever letting John know that she regarded him as her intellectual inferior. She called her spouse a “hick” in front of other people and derided his parents as rednecks. One time, when a friend asked if John had read a certain book, Elizabeth burst out laughing. “Oh, he doesn’t read books,” she said. “I’m the one who reads books.”

During the 2004 race, Elizabeth badgered and berated John’s advisers around the clock. She called Nick Baldick, his campaign manager, an idiot. She accused David Axelrod, his (and later Obama’s) media consultant, of lying to her and insisted that he be stripped of the responsibility for making the campaign’s TV ads. She would stay up late scouring the Web, pulling down negative stories and blog items about her husband, forwarding them with vicious messages to the communications team. She routinely unleashed profanity-laced tirades on conference calls. “Why the fuck do you think I’d want to go sit outside a Wal-Mart and hand out leaflets?” she snarled at the schedulers.

Elizabeth’s illness seemed at first to mellow her in the early months of 2005—but not for long. One day, she was on a conference call with the staffers of One America, the political-action committee that was being turned into a vehicle for John’s 2008 bid. There were 40 or 50 people on the line, mostly kids in their twenties being paid next to nothing (and in some cases literally nothing).

This down fall of Edwards makes me smile. I have disliked him for years. His sleazy making of millions off suing physicians for Cerebral Palsey cases in which their is NO evidence whatsoever that anything they did causes this problem. With this money he built a mansion and went on the speak of 2 American's. Only problem is he is a total terrible person (which I knew from his law practice) who wanted nothing but money and power. Glad he destroyed himself he deserved it.

LOL! No. It's on page 7 of the story Near the bottom of the page. John and Elizabeth are to fly to separate locations to campaign, but they are fighting all the way to the airport.

A campaign staffer and his wife are previewing one of the videos showing Hunter and Edwards expressing familiarity beyond what is appropriate and the staffer’s wife exclaims, “OMG, he’s F*ing her!”

I always despised Edwards obvious phoniness with that transparent “Two Americas” schtick. It’s sort of odd when the complete and permanent political destruction you wish on an opponent in joking conversation actually comes to pass. The Dems are lucky as hell that Silky didn’t make it to the nomination and that their current prize Ego-pony smelled the stink of death on him. Given the messiah complex all big-time liberal pols seem to suffer from, I still wonder if Mr. Clean Obama has any sex scandals brewing.

OMG..I just read this article. THANK GOD these people never got close to the White House. This story was pretty spicy...it would make a great movie of the week!! ROLFMAO!!! Maybe John could negotiate to be the Producer!!! ROFLMAO!!!

What I found most interesting about the story were the things going on behind the scenes in the Democrat party and the media itself. They came right out and admitted that there were able to successfully get the media to spike the story, at least until it blew up.

We all know this is standard procedure when Dems are involved but it was interesting to actually read it in the article.

Now if we could just expose everything they are still hiding about the Ombamanation...

Well, the lib media tried to sit on it but that only gave the scoop to the Enquirer just as their spiking the Monica story only handed it to Matt Drudge in ‘98.

Stories do not “blow up” spontaneously like a grain elevator. Someone has to light the fuse.

F’rinstance, the entire lib political establishment and the MSM is trying to shovel sand over the Dingy Harry racial gaffe, but the conservative media and talking heads have their teeth into it and are hanging on pitbull fashion.
