Certainly not to stick up for the man-child, but the problem is much larger than just him. This is what happens when the nation turns all branches over to one party. It is the job of the Senate to make sure these dumb-a$$ picks are not confirmed. Have we seen any Dem in the RAT controlled Senate oppose man-child on just about anything? No, the Senate takes their marching orders from Article II of the Constitution these days, NOT from "WE THE PEOPLE, as stated in Article I of the Constitution.
