Hmmmmmm...... who should matter less to the world, Lindsey Lohan or some low-life papara##hole?
While I strongly support holding reckless drivers accountable, in this kind of case paparrazi obstructing the path of a vehicle are obviously putting themselves in harm’s way..... a bunch of judgments calls are involved that may be impossible after the fact.
I think that the law is entirely on the pedestrian’s side, especially in CA...... don’t know that there are any cirucmstances in which a driver can advance the vehicle knowing any person is in its path, given the obvious dangers involved even starting from a standstill...... but does the reckless behavior of the paps enter into it at all...... especially since the driver can claim she either didn’t see anyone in the way and/or was distracted by the mob scene etc.?
