The statement was misunderstood...what he REALLY said was:

“Why would they want me to be the leader of the party...I’m such an a**hole?....”

Find out who John McCain is supporting, in the Primary elections -—

Then support the OTHER candidates!

In Kansas, John McCain is supporting RINO Jerry Moran for US Senate.

PLEASE support Conservative Todd Tiahrt, instead!

I’ve been asking the same question.

All I have seen is that MO had conditions on his running; quit smoking; spend Sundays at home, and attend school conferences and music recitals.

Ouch! /s

McCain has no personal scores to settle with Obama, so why bother to mention him? His chief adversaries are in the GOP, or rather, among those who insist that the party stand for conservative principles. Instead, McCain prefers an “open door” policy for the Republican Party, just as he does for our borders.

Interesting latest devepopment from the loser party.

Write books quoting rumor and innuendo, with hopes of dividing conservatives...

...and saving their sinking ship.

Fat chance!

They would have to curb their arrogance and regain their grip on reality. That's never gonna happen. Dysfunction can't be turned off that easily.

Who said we really wanted you in the first place”

Exactly-=-— I voted for Palin— I got McCain in the bargain. NOt a great bargain.

Next time, Palin will have a better partner.

I just don’t understand McCain’s attachment to the illegals.

He hasn’t run a business like lawn maintenance where illegals are hired by the handful.

What is his dog in this fight?

This is a classic development in the devolution of integrity and statesmanship in American politics.

The "leader" of a party calling his constituents a**holes for insisting on the rule of law, rather than "expedience" and the rule of "arbitrary and capricious" criminals.

Repeal all the immigration laws, McMoron, and then we can say that the idiot voters have no rational basis for criticizing you!

Good luck with that.

Anyone who hasn’t seen what McCain really is by now either doesn’t care or approves.

And how ‘bout that Harry Reid? When he and McCain are both gone, the senate will at least smell better.

Clean, Articulate, Light-Skinned, and No Negro Dialect!

Jan. 9, 2010

[snip]It also happens to be the same Harry Reid who declared that those who favored English as America’s official language were racist.

Reid’s latest display of brain-dead hypocrisy is reported, in part, at Yahoo.com:

“WASHINGTON - The top Democrat in the U.S. Senate apologized on Saturday for comments he made about Barack Obama’s race during the 2008 presidential bid and are quoted in a yet-to-be-released book about the campaign.

Reid, now an impassioned champion of amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens in America, once called illegal aliens “free loaders and scam artists” which he proposed to deal with in his Immigration Stabilization Act in the United States Senate in 1993.

That proposed legislation was introduced to the floor of the US Senate with the following press release, in part, issued by Reid’s office on August 5, 1993.

“In response to increased terrorism and abuse of social programs by aliens, (I) today introduced the first and only comprehensive immigration reform bill in Congress. Currently, an alien living illegally in the United States often pays no taxes but receives unemployment, welfare, free medical care, and other federal benefits. Recent terrorist acts, including the World Trade Center bombing, have underscored the need to keep violent criminals out of the country.”

Harry Reid: Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but the senator from Nevada does have has a way with words!

McCain hates conservatives and has never made any bones about it. He hates Christians too, and again, has never made any bones about it. Having to vote for him in 2008 was tough after all the times he had stabbed us in the back.

I did it for Petraeus (I never guessed back then that O would keep Petraeus...) and his choice of Palin helped me to choke it down. But I wasn’t happy about it. The guy needs to be retired. Good riddance.

He probably’s been watching that Hardees commercial. (A hole versus B hole...warning, it’s crude, I think Hardees must have used it as an internet ad, not a tv ad.)

With a lot of these people it is based on one or two people they know, or know of, and they extrapolate from those few what the whole picture looks like. Ignorance based on insufficient evidence, essentially.

Another possibility is the business interest in cheapest labor. That is a pet project of “neo-cons”, and look what it has done to us. Could we at this point build a single tank entirely out of US produced materials and parts?
