When Columbus Public Schools were starting a major building program a few years ago, the Board and black contractors openly tried to contrive the rules to give work to black contractors. Many board meetings were shown on the community access channel where the board tried to circumvent open bidding laws.
You should have kissed Columbus goodbye when the local developers put in your black ceremonial mayor. What a maroon!
