Danish artist's attacker 'tried to recruit Swedes'

Young Swedes were encouraged to join the militant Islamist group al-Shabaab by the Danish-Somali man who attacked Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard with an axe.

Last winter, he visited Gothenburg in western Sweden together with another Danish-Somali man who later blew himself and 23 others up in a suicide bomb attack in the Somali capital of Mogadishu last month.

The man reportedly visited two Gothenburg mosques in an attempt to recruit young Swedes to al-Shabaab.

al-Shabaab has successfully recruited around 20 young people from Sweden, some of whom who have been killed in battle.

I have been talked into doing some goofy stuff , a couple times it involved joining something , always a tip off . But how does a recruiting pitch go that ends up with ,the recruit saying “ yeah , hours are good , be my own boss , blow myself to hell , virgins ( nobody believes that ) . I am further expected to believe alcohol is not part of this .

Riiiiight - Swedes in the mosque huh? How about Muslim alien invaders who should be deported back to their own hell holes were recruited by another barbarian who should be allowed to blow himself up over the Baltic Sea?
