The first thing Im doing is calling on them not to do it, and on the people not to let themselves be robbed. The only way they can keep from being robbed is to get rid of Hugo in the customary manner appropriate for dictators.

Could things fall apart for this clown soon? I wonder if there are some generals thinking about a coup yet.

At the same time Chavez threatened to expropriate the businesses of speculators, after calling on the military and popular organizations to work together to stop any price increases in stores So its just another property grab.

Exactly. After shortages become a problem, Hugo will then send the military in again to prevent hoarding.

Pretty soon there will be nothing left to buy in Venezuela.
Except at state-owned HugoMarts at chaotic and unpredictable prices and inventory.
Count on it.

Pretty much. Hugo wants to steal the money through currency devaluation and then vilify businesses for the price increases.

Since collectivism cannot be flawed, this must be the fault of the capitalist wreckers.
Good times just ahead for Venezuelans.

The left is so good at this. They mess something up bad. And then blame it on businesses. And finally, use that as an excuse to mess things up even worse. Same thing has been happening here in America for the past 40 years. The pace here is just a little slower. But it’s exactly the same MO with exactly the same effect.

Yes, those capitalist pigs are trying to ruin another socialist utopia by not selling their products at a loss. When will they learn?

Not even when their standing in line trying to get a 2-day old loaf of bread with their meager earnings and a ration card. Knowing full well the local government officials have probably already taken most of it.

It amazes me that so many people do not see it. In the past, the left has been especially getting vote via handouts, but they are starting to venture into even more radical territory. They are trying to fit the square peg in the round hole. When the left tries to alter reality to avoid facing the failure of their policies, that’s when people really get hurt. An example of this is the rationing of health care to solve the medicare crisis. It’s brutal and ugly.
