Samaritan's Purse and World Vision are two organizations who will give relief to those in dire need here, and can be relied upon as truly Christian organizations which send donations to the victims, and not to line the pockets of the "administrators."

Unfortunately Obama commented today:

“Despite the fact that we are experiencing tough times here at home, I would encourage those Americans who want to support the urgent humanitarian efforts to go to whitehouse.gov where you can learn how to contribute.”

The only charity linked on Obama’s site is the Red Cross. This is from the Red Cross site.

“The president of the United States, who is honorary chairman of the Red Cross, appoints eight governors, including the chairman of the board.”

So, if you wish to have your donations partially support Obama’s hand picked “governors” feel free to follow his instructions.
