This many posts and no one’s stated the obvious? If she’d been wearing proper clothing like slacks or even jeans, and a belt, it would’ve been considerably harder to divest her of the pants.

When did slacks or jeans become proper clothing for a girl in gym class?

Do you realize, your post suggests that it is appropriate for a girl to be forcibly disrobed, in public, by someone who disapproves of her attire?

If you have daughters, I pity them.

Don’t much like kids and I’d never subject a kid to the way I got treated in school. None for me, thanks.

And that said, no, I didn’t realize it was in gym class, which does change things.

Still not a huge fan of sweatpants worn in general public tho, for precisely this reason...every pair I’ve ever owned felt like they were rather precarious to begin with, and if they had pockets and you dared use them, you were definitely tempting fate.

Boy was in the wrong, unquestionably. The type of pants unfortunately just made it easier for him to pull it off.
