Can you believe that they tried to spin this earlier today by saying that he was just helping the reporter up.

Meehan isn’t exactly a goon... not that he’s a good guy or anything... Wasn’t he Kerry’s campaign manager in 04?

No, George Allen should not have acted like a drunken fool on the campaign trail.

Kristinn, look at who he was running against ~ a nearly certifiable psychopath.

Now, was he acting like a "drunken fool"? Not really. The videos, et al, show that Macaca man (S.R. Siddarth who has other relatives in Democrat politics) was actually getting up in the man's face with his oversize camera.

This is exactly the trick used in Afghanistan just a few days before 9/11 to assassinate OUR GUY who was going to be leading nationalist forces against the Taliban on the ground (just in case we had to clean things up over there).

I don't think the people who were supposed to protect George Allen should have let Macaca guy get that close but somebody wanted to be polite.

Better to be safe than sorry and find somebody to do the beatdown if the authorities won't.

Sad to hear about the Standard's reporter, but somebody ~ probably the Coakley broad herself ~ thought he was too close ~ and, I'd say that given the history of Massachusetts people who've been Senator and who've been assassinated, she was fair to think that.

Now she's unleashed the dogs of war on the campaign trail, so I'd say civility by our candidates in dealing with their "newsies" should come to a big screeching halt.

You've got people around on their side like Rahm Emanuel and you just know he'd hold an assassination on somebody if he thought he could get away with it and pick up a seat.

It's suddenly become too dangerous for gentlemanly behavior.

The times for getting away with this are in the past. Too many cameras around these days.

I was infuriated so I did a quick search - Coakley’s going down. I think this was the last nail in the coffin. All the top hits were against Coakley. They might have won the battle but it cost them the war.

Too bad, so sad.

The first person to send the reporter a gift card to Men’s Wearhouse for a new suit wins it all. I can’t believe Scott hasn’t done it yet.

Scott Brown: Buy the guy a new suit! Then Martha will wish she had thought of it, but it will be too late.

Meehan isn’t exactly a goon...

He seems to have his technique down. Not his first time pulling this crap. It's keep your head on a swivel time.

Don’t forget what the SEIU thugs that beat up the Tea Party vendor got charged with. Not charged with a hate crime for using a racial slur while committing the crime, but charged with misdemeanor ordinance violations. It seems Chicago style law enforcement is in vogue in all districts controlled by Democrats.

He’s also in the Administration. Zer0 appointed him a member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors.

Well, by replying to me, you are actually keeping the thread in play, so folks who have FaceBook or Twitter will see it and move it along ;)

I am hoping Fox news, or one of their shows like Gretta will play it. As they say, 1 pic is worth 1000 words.

Coakley, the Attorney General of MA, the “chief lawyer and law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth” employs thugs to assault the press...

And you think Chicago is corrupt!
