I have a copy of liberty and tyranny. Just finished watching the John Adams mini-series. If you haven’t seen it, you must.
It was the funniest book I ever read. When his mom got it published after his suicide it was a VERY small print run from LA State University Press. they did a few runs and then it got picked up as it became a cult classic. I have one of the earliest editions and they are very rare. The guy was a great talent.
No,no,no, The people got snookered with Obama. If he had governed like he had promised he would have worked from the center. He was an unknown quality and people thought he would be OK. They didn’t know that almost every word was an un-truth. He was helped by the Media who painted him (they still do) as the wisest, best, person around after they had spent years turning Bush and Chaney into a Monkey and a nazi. The Message of change sounded good (it still does) but the reforms Obama talked about never came. The people got a bill of goods-—They were fooled. Mark my words—no one will ever elect this poser to any job again. His magic is gone.

Conservatives listened to him speak and heard nothing but vague conclusions and promises without substance. All one could learn from his speeches was that he had a talent for convincing many to suspend critical thinking and emote, famously summed up by the moron Chris Matthews and his tingling extremity. Nearly half of all Americans who cast a vote didn’t get snookered, and the fact that a majority of the electorate fell for his Sesame Street quality dog and pony show is exactly the root problem of which he is a symptom.
