Greens and ham hocks is excellent!

The “mess of greens” absorb the ham flavor.

How the #@*$ does A SCHOOL APOLOGIZE?!!!!

Names. We need names. As usual, the article is nearly worthless and the real culprits, which is probably two or three liberal-hacks that are SO racist they don’t even know they are racist, are no where to be found.

Not one person mentioned in the article are the ones who decided this. I want names!!!!

During Black History Month (Feb.), the culinary program at a school I used to work at always had a special menu one day to celebrate that included greens, sweet potato pie, okra, chicken, etc. You had to sign up early in order to ensure that food would be available for you. Most of the culinary instructional staff was black as were the students. It was always good food and good fun. BTW, those students were also winners at national contest on a regular basis.

"Southern Style" chicken and collard greens

I flipped on "Man v. Food" a couple of nights ago because he was in NYC.
He was in Harlem at Sylvia's.
Eating their famous chicken and collard greens.
Something wrong with that?

But collard greens? Ick. Feh.

Not out the can. Fresh, sautéed in garlic and oil, you wouldn't recognize them. My daughter (who is 13) makes them and her siblings, including a 6-year-old boy, line up for seconds.

I used to sign up for all the Heritage lunches at my federal facility because they were so damn tasty. MLK Day, Hispanic Heritage day, Asian-American Day.

No worse than serving Corned Beef and cabbage in celebration of St, Patrick’s Day.

If you read on in the article, they actually contacted the King Center here in Atlanta prior to menu planning to ask what the good Rev Dr’s favorite foods were. Wanna guess?

So what the hell is wrong with fried chicken and collard greens? I grew up on that stuff. Does that give me a stake in Reparations?

You will always find a ninny who would find some offence with anything on a menu. So to avoid offending any ninnies, everyone will eat bland confinement loaf. No meat, no taste, and the texture of wet cardboard.

I need a couple more enchants and my DPS will improve. Wearing blues but doubt I’ll spring for the purples at this level. WoW!
