Quite frankly, they'd get more credibility from me if they'd won "Best of Show"
A weak US as we have right now makes it just that much more likely that one of the minor nuclear powers could decide that maybe they can get away with a limited exchange against their foe without repercussions beyond condemnation etc. Pakistan/India, Iran/Israel, China/India, China/Taiwan, North Korea/South Korea, Russia/Georgia, etc etc all come to mind. If any of those conflicts flared, followed by an immediate statement from the perpetrator that one (or five, or however many they’d popped off) was all they were going to do, and they were now done, the Zer0 would probably wash his hands of the whole thing, and the UN would do nothing more than issue stern letters of condemnation filled with threats of more letters if the offender didn’t get back in line.

I hate to rain on their parade, but everyday moves us one day closer to the end of time. You can’t turn the hands of the “real clock” back.
After 9/11, I looked up the Doomsday Clock online to see if it had budged any because of the attack. Of course it had not and for 6 months afterward no movement when I checked again off and on.
