MTV says it is working with George Clooney to stage a telethon for Haitian earthquake relief.
It will be held on January 22.
A representative for the music television network says finer details are still being worked out.
Host Clooney is expected to be joined by as yet unnamed movie and music stars.
Haiti-born musician Wyclef Jean has already raised over $US1 million for the aid effort via Twitter.
He is currently in the country "giving aid and assessing the situation," according to his website.
“Barack Obama hates black people!” Anyone here think Kanye is gonna get an invite to this one?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have just donated 1 million to Doctors without borders which are headed to Haiti. Also heard an unconfirmed rumor that Tiger Woods has donated money to get a mobile medical lab flown there. Not sure if that is true, but congrats to those who are actually spending their own millions rather than telling us we aren’t doing enough.

There is a large Haitian area near where I live. The US blacks hate the Haitians because the Haitians work and actually try to learn and speak proper English. And, I am sure the Haitians are not too fond of US blacks (a lot of Caribbean immigrants think US blacks are lazy)
