More bad news for Coakley

Gerald Amirault was on WEEI radio's Dennis and Callaghan show today, discussing the shameful role of Martha Coakley in the prosecution of a false child molestation case. Audio here.

The hosts talked about how the entire Fells Acres trail was a truly shameful episode in local history. Amrirault himself recounted all the years he spent in "protective custody" i.e. solitary confinement, because of concerns that as a convicted child molester he would not be safe in the general population. When he finally did go into the general population, the reaction of the other inmates was be cool man, we know you aren't guilty. Amriault also talked about Martha Coakley being unable to admit her office had wrongfully convicted him despite the fact they changed all the procedures on collecting and presenting evidence in molestation investigations long before his commutation hearing in 2001.

Oh for the days when Dems were liberal democrats and not collectivists. I remember when the gold standard was “individual rights” not “collective conspiracies to denude individual rights”. Sadly, once they went for AA their future as a party was fore ordained; they are the party of special privledges for a price. Methinks they represent the Catholic church that Luther rebelled against; selling tickets to heaven. So much for all their big talk, they are nothing more than thugs. The Mob could learn a thing or two from these guys.

I’d never heard of the Amirault case. It’s astonishing what the govt was doing in broad daylight to these defendants. Here’s an example from http://mysite.verizon.net/vzex11z4/amirp2.html

“On 21 October 1999, Cheryl’s lawyers filed a motion to revise and revoke Cheryl’s sentence to the time she had already served. Assistant District Attorney Lynn Rooney agreed, provided that (1) Cheryl have no contact with the alleged victims or their families, (2) Cheryl have no unsupervised contact with a child under 16 or seek employment that would cause her to have such contact, (3) Cheryl not profit from published accounts of the case, and (4) Cheryl lives under supervised probation for ten years. Cheryl’s lawyers accepted the terms (which had been previously negotiated) and Judge Paul Chernoff ratified the agreement. At the press conference following the court session, attorney James Sultan revealed two additional conditions that they had accepted: (1) that Cheryl cease all further attempts to clear her name via the legal process and (2) that Cheryl not speak about the case on camera for at least the ten years of her supervised probation. Cheryl, in short, had to ‘voluntarily’ surrender her most basic Constitutional rights in order to avoid a return to the hell hole of Framingham prison. On hearing this, one reporter said: ‘That’s outrageous. This is America.’ One of Cheryl’s attorneys — distinguished Harvard Law professor Charles Ogletree — responded, ‘This is Middlesex County.’

DA Coakley, of course, insisted that this was all to protect the ‘victims.’ “

If Coakley is elected, Massachusetts will never live this down in the eyes of decent people.

You're kidding, right?

Ted Kennedy

John Kerry

Barney Frank

They've had a long line of embarrassments, and it doesn't faze them one bit.

There was a woman on a NY talk radio show last night who is reporting on prosecutorial abuse. She says it’s very common for prosecutors to knowingly present a case they know is false, and to never, ever admit to making a mistake, even when they know that they have.

She said there is a prosecutor in IL who disregards DNA evidence. These people are psychopaths, and there are plenty of them around.

Brown is going to cruise to victory.
If ACORN gets involved in stealing the next set of elections, this cultural war could go from cold to hot mighty quickly judging by the anger of the electorate (not that I advocate violence).

For years they knew a guy was innocent but they coverd up the facts to protect a mob hit man

I remember that and as I recall, it was on direct orders from Hoover.

When i was a kid I use to drink beer with my buddies then call the f.b.i. collect for J.Edgar.
They’d freak and KNOW they would come for us.

Whether I am kidding or not (about Massachusetts morally having to live down the election of Coakley), I don't need to speculate because Scott Brown is elected.

HALLELUJAH!

The shame of having so many bozos out of my state, Barney Frank, Ted Kennedy (RIP)is at least somewhat ameliorated by the election of Sen. Elect Brown.
