Bam, Rudy stump for critical Mass.

President Obama will spend some precious political capital on Massachusetts Senate hopeful Martha Coakley, stumping for the struggling Democratic candidate this weekend as Rudy Giuliani hit the Bay State yesterday to boost Republican Scott Brown.

The president's late-game decision -- the White House previously said the president didn't plan to visit Massachusetts -- came at a time when Coakley, the state's attorney general, is locked in a surprisingly tight battle with state Sen. Brown for the seat previously held by the late Sen. Ted Kennedy in an overwhelmingly blue state.

The decision is a huge test of Obama's political clout at a time when he can ill afford a loss.

It was a clear sign that Democrats feel the need to make a push to get her over the top in a close race, as Bill Clinton hit the trail for Coakley, and Kennedy's widow, Vicki, showed up in an ad on the candidate's behalf.

"We always had people in positions of authority who kept America a tomorrow country. Say yes to Martha Coakley, and don't let anybody stay home," Clinton said at a campaign event.

Rudy's a good choice in Mass.

Sorry, purists: we need this seat in the race to defeat health care.

Don’t count on any public appearances.....probably a Town Hall meeting with ACORN and SEIU droolers out at the Kennedy Library.

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW?

Where oh where is the Republitard Establishment?

If they are "Fully Engaged" you could fool me as I have not heard/read anywhere that they are making an all-out effort to help Scott win this most crucial election

Though they had no prob dumping a $1 Million into Dede Scuzzy-Fatso's campaign, I have yet to see any such largesse being spent for

If anyone has seen anything different, please let me know so my blood pressure does not keep elevating to the point I think my head is going to explode.

Yeah, as in "We'll pay for that tomorrow."

“could get votes from people who mistakenly think he’s related to Ted Kennedy”.
Too funny.
Sooo then maybe Brown wins cause folks in Ma. are as stupid as the blue hairs in Palm Beach who voted Pat Robinson when they thought they were voting algore.

The one thing I don’t understand is how the Democrats failed to find at least one member of the Kennedy family who could stay sober long enough to win this election and keep the Ted Kennedy Seat in the family so the Obama administration could start imposing the “Ted Kennedy Tax On Your Cadillac Health Care Plan”.

If Axelrod could, he'd exhume the body and display it as a prop.

I got a robo call for money to help Scott Brown, but they wanted me to send it to RNC.

I donated but directly to Brown, not the RNC.

Any funds sent to the RNC for Brown will be "shared" with the RNC.

If you want to help, send money directly to Brown.
