Strike One: The mission in Afghanistan was to go in because we believed that the Taliban was giving harbor to terrorists Theyre gone. Theyre not there anymore.
Strike Two: As opposed to standing outside Fenway Park? In the cold? Shaking hands?
Strike Three: You can have religious freedom but you probably shouldnt work in the emergency room.
Lets start with those three quotes above. The first, from a Jan. 11 debate in which Coakley called for a withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, was defended by the folks at MediaMatters, who feel that she was not talking about the Taliban but only Osama bin Ladens minions: In the next sentences
The Fenway Park comment came in an interview with The Boston Globe in which she bristled at the suggestion that, with so little time left, in an election with such high stakes, she is being too passive and mocked a video of Brown glad-handing in the shadow of the Green Monster. This may seem insignificant to those whove never visited Red Sox Nation, but as any New York Yankee could have told Coakley, you really dont want to anger this guy.
The final unforced error came on Thursday in a radio interview with the self-described voice of reason, Ken Pittman, responding to a question about medical workers who object to dispersing contraceptives on religious grounds. And Strike 6 was last night when she said Red Sox great Curt Schilling was a “Yankees fan too.”
Curt’s not happy...
Looks like the Dem spin-doctors have switched gears and are now trying to make it appear that Coakley is losing because of her own personality and incompetence. That way, it’s not Obama’s fault no matter how much he campaigns there, and it’s certainly not the fault of Obama’s brilliant policies.
“...defended by the folks at MediaMatters, who feel ....”
Oh, it’s just the New York Times. Next, they’ll be citing Michael Moore or Fidel Castro.
I can hear her now. “Can we go to New England now that Kennedy is dead and Brown won?”
I won’t spend money in a Marxist state and avoid Massachusetts like the plague. My wife will be on me now saying I have no excuse
I suggest that video go viral...and someone send it to Coakley.
I guess that the author means:
[...] responding to a question about medical workers who object, on religious grounds, to dispensing contraceptives [...]
This woman is so stupid she thinks elective termination of pregnany is a procedure done by ER doctors? Is there ANYONE actually this stupid in the U.S.? And if so, should they be anywhere near anything important, much less a Senate seat?
There are many as stupid as her in the democrat ranks of Congress.
