The ubiquitous yellow jugs joined to the hips of Florida pool owners are different icons in Afghanistan. They’re the carriers of fertilizer and diesel fuel terrorists use to blow up our boys with roadside bombs called IED's. Question: "Was it our general and not our President doing the dithering in the 90 days of contemplation before Obama released 30,000 more of our boys to be fed into the maw of a war we refuse to win?”

In a recent NPR interview Pentagon correspondent Tom Bowman...

Obama should be impeached for giving aid and comfort to the enemy and tried for treason. I think this is the one thing he fears most.

On the contrary, these ROE's are winning the war for Obama.

In Obama's upside down world, the muslims are right in their fight against that part of America that is pro-Israel and imperialist...and that includes our military.

McChrystal should resign as should every other general who accepts these ROE's.

FUBO!

In the US military, who writes the rules of engagement? The operational commander? The Pentagon? The JAG? They should be tarred and feathered.

If you haven’t read the analytical piece by Coughlin - get a copy and read it.

Basically states that in doing counter-intelligence and targeting against Islamic targets - there is no difference between moderate and radical. They all draw from the same holy doctrine that allows and promotes violence.

Those are the rules of engagement in counterinsurgency. You can't separate them.

Those that don't like the COIN ROEs should have supported Joe Biden who was advocating a counter terror mission, which has a different set of ROE.

Who knows every thing there is to know and more about counterinsurgency and its current role in US military strategy?

This will be on his watch, this will be his fault, there will be no “Bush’s fault”.
