Hailie Sanders, the missing teen from Ashtabula, Ohio, missing since January 5, 2010 has been found safe.
(Excerpt) Read more at examiner.com ...
The girl was missing for 10 days and they just yesterday went to her boyfriend’s house?
Why doe she need to be held for three days by the state?
Lucky, sounds as though she was there willingly.....
She was at her boyfriend’s house unrestrained...
The boyfriend is 21 she is “?”.
Depending on her age, 40 years ago that would have been called eloping.....
In the town I grew up in there was an old couple who eloped when they were youngsters.
Seems that the age difference was pretty large and he went to prison when they were found. They were married for some 60 years when he died.
The chief investigator didn’t say. Being that she is a teen, she is probably set as a runaway.
....and a "shotgun wedding" would take place.
As told in previous story on my site, she is 17.
I wish the happy couple all the best.
Hailie Sanders then put on her shoes and walked out of the Brooks home, Cellitti said. She was unharmed, Cellitti said.
What the heck is wrong with this police dept?
Don't they know they are supposed to shoot the dog, use dynamic entry with flash bangs, guns at the ready, face plant the child molester boyfriend and rescue the obviously deluded 17 year old child.
In most states, she is at the age were she can expatriate from her parents....
This a a family court issue and not a criminal court issue based on the limited facts I’ve seen.....
At least one would hope it will be a formal shotgun wedding. . .you know. . .when the shotgun is painted white.
I was 21 and my to be wife was 17 when we met. Her parents were not crazy with the idea. When she turned 18 we got married. It has been 40 years and people are still wondering if it is going to last.
(Oh, her parents finally came around.)
She really should have spent her body piercing and nerd glasses budget on a trip to the dentist. She’s 17, but she has the teeth of a 57 year old hobo.
Just another stupid teenager who has it all figured out. I could care less about her. She chose to leave, let her stay gone. I’ll save my sympathy for people who are truly kidnapped.
Very petty post.
In Ohio, the age of consent is 16. I see no illegal act here.
Back in my youth, “eloping” was when kids ran away and actually got married.
Moving in with your boyfriend without getting married is called “shacking up”.
In some states, won't 17 still get you 20?
It will get you life if Daddy finds out
According to this link she was 17
In some states, won’t 17 still get you 20?
