What these articles convey strongly is that supporters of assisted suicide simply do not care how much collateral damage their campaign for "dying with dignity" will do to people who have lived with their disability for years. Ms Coleman savagely comments: "Proponents of legalized assisted suicide are willing to treat lives ended through abuses of the practice as ‘acceptable losses’ when balanced against their wish for a pleasant way out and their unwillingness to accept disability, or responsibility for their own suicide."

This is a perfect description of the culture of death.

“”If the legalization of assisted suicide continues, I believe the rank and file will some day see nothing wrong with hastening the deaths of many people,” writes Dr Carol J. Gill , director of the Chicago Center for Disability Research. “They will stand by and do nothing to stop it and will endorse the policies and institutions that advance it – not because they are evil people but because it will no longer be evil in our culture to do so. It will be compassionate, respectful, routine.””

Exactly.

Look at history Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, Albert Einstein, Thomas alva Edison, Benjamin Franklin all were individuals whom had a disability. Lets see they all lived in times of hardship and achieved something great for America yet by the standards that O desires all would have been put to death before their time. The RATS need to be put to an early death too if the utilization of their standards, what achievements have they accomplished - None whatsoever.

Today it is the “right” to die. Tomorrow it will be the “duty” to die.

A perfect excuse for a family to “off” their disabled relatives, collect the life insurance and feel guilt-free.

I suppose if I take this literally, I was better off dying 29 years ago. Although my two sons, born after I broke my back, wouldn’t be alive today.

Liberals passing laws to justify more murder. Typical.

There has also been a very clear movement from helping people with terminal illness and untreatable pain to those who are just inconvenient.

Early on, the argument was that euthanasia would only be used for those who were suffering unbearably and wanted to end their lives. Now it is the old, handicapped, depressed and others who just need someone to give them some help, friendship and routine care.

It’s a short road to standards preventing lifesaving care to the elderly or handicapped.

The mere existence of liberal vermin is a justification for suicide. Why should I bother going to a hospital when I’m terminally ill if they’re guaranteed to kill me anyway? I might as well do it my own way when the time comes.
