Impressed with his energy and with hopes for his independence, we support Scott Brown in the special election for U.S. Senate.
Although we do not agree with Brown's position on health care reform, voters should consider the whole package when they go to the polls Tuesday.
And when we took a closer look at Brown and his platform, we liked what we saw.
Brown is an independent Republican who supports President Obama's strategy in Afghanistan. He supports women's right to choose, though he opposes partial-birth abortion and believes in strong parental notification laws.

Yesterday I went to Yahoo’s news source that you can find newspapers from the world over.
I went to the Cape Cod Times and papers all over Ma.
I specifically went to the Cape Cod Times knowing it a liberal local rag and found NOTHING about the race. I was astonished. Even more so today after the actually endorsed Brown.

Is Brown to the left of Coakley? Is Brown to the left of where Kennedy was? Is Brown to the left of the temporary guy that was illegally installed as a place-holder?
Why must everyone on our side be labelled a “RINO” unless they’re an absolute purist? Crikey, just be happy it’ll be an improvement and be glad that the country’s beginning to move to the right.
It’s better to focus on the big picture and see something positive.
