We're not as mature a country and people. The Guelphs and Ghibellines fought out church and state for more centuries than America has existed.

“According to the Constitution.....NO.”

According to whose Constitution? According to Pelosis, it’s an “anything goes” if the democrats are in power relating to the “general welfare” part.

Well, I suppose that is ok if we want to roll belly-up and let Pelosi take ownership of the Constitution, but I think things are starting to turn on her and her ilk.

No matter how that "general welfare" is interpreted by the left, the document still starts out with "WE THE PEOPLE"... that makes it OUR document, and it is supported by the vast majority of the PEOPLE.

She can try and commandere it if she likes, but the people WILL revolt...I know, I've seen them do it. They will wipe that botox smile off her face in short order, and maybe even take her private airliner back.

That old pendulum is starting to swing the other way again...to the right...the sleeping giant has been awakened.

By prohibiting prayer in any place, by any person, remotely linked to the government, the state ignores the freedom to manifest one’s religion, when and where one wants.

Americans should seek to cease the manipulation of their constitution. Secularists, quite simply, are attempting to impose their minority beliefs on the majority of Americans — and, ultimately, on the rest of the world. They know democracy will not produce the results they desire. Bowdlerizing religious expression using the guise of protecting minority rights is a ploy.

Religion is the moral origin of all nations’ laws — particularly American law.

so very well said
