FRESH doubts were cast over controversial global warming theories yesterday after a major climate change argument was discredited.

The International Panel on Climate Change was forced to admit its key claim that Himalayan glaciers would melt by 2035 was lifted from a 1999 magazine article. The report was based on an interview with a little-known Indian scientist who has since said his views were “speculation” and not backed up by research.

It was also revealed that the IPCC’s controversial chairman, Dr Rajendra Pachauri, described as “the world’s top climate scientist”, is a former railway engineer with a PhD in economics and no formal climate science qualifications.

The UK seems fanatical about this climate change crap...somebody pushed through some awful big spending regarding climate change, and they are trying to save face...or their @$$...don't know which.

What difference would Himalayan glaciers make anyway?
If the glaciers stay the same, all you get is annual runoff.
If the glaciers were gone, you still get the annual runoff.
If the glaciers are shrinking, you get extra water for awhile.
Only if they were growing, the water locked in would be unavailable.
I still don’t see the downside EVEN IF there were global warming.

After my Alma mater divested itself of Meteorology degrees they instituted "Climatology." A look at the syllabus show no requirements for the Calculus, Physics, Geology, Chemistry, and other high math and sciences we had to have to graduate.

Most "Climatology" is just a bunch of retards getting politically indoctrinated by a bunch of other retards who have worthless degrees and get paid to brain wash young people by the colleges.
