Anyone notice very little damage to the buildings? No cracks to the runways? UN and FEMA are asking for no aid workers to come in? Wonder why? Maybe the damage is not so bad?

The newsmedia is lying. Obama is loading up C-17s with Haitians to dump on Florida for the 2012 election. This is all about winning 2012.

The liberal newsmedia has played us for decades but people like sheep are falling for this story. Yes it is bad but not as bad as the media is making it. Obama has C-17 loaded with Haitians flying to Florida. He conned the US public again.

See any damage in those pictures? Any down buildings? I don’t. Keep drinking the Kool Aide troll.

"Anyone notice very little damage to the buildings? No cracks to the runways?"

Not at all unusual in the Third World. Airports all over the world must meet certain minimum engineering standards in order to be FAA certified for international air commerce. Toussaint Louverture is a major source of revenue for Haiti, and was most likely designed and built by non-Haitians with great attention to detail and thorough oversight of the construction phase. Their presidential palace, on the other hand, was obviously built by locals, as evidenced by the dearth of rebar in the quake aftermath photos of the completely destroyed structure.

I've come to believe that you have an agenda here which is to intentionally make FR look as bad as its detractors want to believe it is.

I can think of only one other reason for your paricularly small-minded constant yammering....you are a particularly small minded person.

do you know that FL is being now dropped with Haitians day and night around the clock

we are expecting 45,000 maybe more soon and they have already got here.

We are looking to change FL and the voting demographic for years to come.

Why the hell is he saying that we are not getting enough there to aid them but we’re bringing them here where we cannot afford them,

this state has no MONEY AND WE’RE SUPPOSED OT NOW FEED, EDUCATE, DRESS, HOUSE, MEDICAL for thousands of them\

it is pure insanity to bring them here and if folks want them to come here then I suggest they can put them into their house and pay for them for the rest of their lives

the media is playing this for the white house.
How many times does the media state how bad the island was before this and how murder and violence, drugs, voodoo, gangs was a part of life for even kids aged 10

do you think it is right to bring thousands upon thousands to florida then?

This is my state and we cannot afford to hire even a cop and yet we are now supposed ot look after thousands of these folks
our schools cannot afford their utility bill but we’re now expected to bring these kids into our school which has no money

we have medical services closing down but now were supposed ot give medical help to thousands of these people

we have no money but we’re supposed to feed, house them
even our homeless vets have no where to go but now we have places for thousands of them.

we have no money and why the hell are we bringing them to this state why not LA which is not a swing state and has more in common with their culture like voodoo and traditions, culture even language.

so again do you think it is right we should take them out of THEIR COUNTRY and bring them here to a country which they do not know anything about even the language?

It’s folks who watch too much media all day and say OMG we have to do eevrything we can and we are doing stuff but bringing out of their country and to here is not right.

It should be leaving them there to rebuild their country and let the UN deal with this

“Why the hell is he saying that we are not getting enough there to aid them but we’re bringing them here where we cannot afford them,”

And why have they told search and rescue teams to stand down.

scary how alike they are but notice how we do not have the media greeting these folks off the plane like we had years ago when the cubans came .

it doesn’t make any sense to bring them here at all, how on earth can they rebuild their country if they are here and what gets me is how those who are here are not going over to help their old country or find family.
Instead they were on TV here saying how they should be getting more from the USA and they want more to come here.

why are they not setting up field tents where they can go and stay until they can go back home?
Why is obama bringing them here in their thousands, we’re not talking about just a couple of hundred we’re talking thousands upon thousands and if anyone says no the left and some on the right do gooders types will say racist, bigot etc but of course it is these folks who haven;t thought about what is about to happen and how much this is all costing but they will be out protesting spending

Looks like there are three C-17s there including the one from Qatar Airways which is the only one in a civilian paint scheme (all the rest currently in operational service are in the same overall AMC Gray scheme)

1) The single runway is small and unable to carry the load of the larger military/commercial aircraft.
2) The control tower is damaged and unusable.
3) The airport is not equipped to handle large quantities of cargo (fork lifts, k-loaders, etc).
4) Power is currently being provided by generators, the island power grid has been damaged.
5) The island only handled enough fuel for it's population, not for several hundred generators (which were brought in to help).
6) Most of the workers at the airport are trying to take care of their families.
7) Look at the size of the ramp, you park more than 2 C-17s there and you can't turn around.
8) Get your head out of your tush and this of this logistically. Before an aircraft can land, there has to be a place for it to park.
9) Yes, it is as bad (or worse in some areas) as the media is making it.

This was relayed to me by one of my former Airmen, who just got back after setting up initial SATCOM communications so they could coordinate the airflow.

very true

we can’t get aid they say but we can bring and airlift thousands 24/7 and now they say don’t send search teams or clothes , blankets, they just want money.

well who is paying for these airlifts? They have arrived thus far as we know in
sanford, orlando, Tampa, miami thus far and rumors of JAX

Why no cameras showing all of these folks arriving, have they been vetted seeing as thousands escaped prison.

Yet again we have a group of our population who watch too much TV and then say get them here give them here as quick as we can but never think about the other issues with this or the long term affect

“The newsmedia is lying. Obama is loading up C-17s with Haitians to dump on Florida for the 2012 election. This is all about winning 2012.”

Give us a break. Someone would have to be on large amounts of drugs to believe this area wasn’t damaged.
Are you intentionally trying to make conservatives look like idiots?
Ask any of our military people down there who are saving lives, if they too are lying.
Geez...

More Dem voters, that's all bringing them here is about....except (of course) the ones that need medical treatment only available here. That and of course the photo ops for obongo.
