It's the People's Seat
You Tube ^ | January 11, 2010 | Scott Brown

Posted on 01/18/2010 1:47:38 PM PST by Choose Ye This Day

Scott Brown schooled David Gergen and all the entitlement-minded Democrats.

This Senate seat doesn't belong to the Kennedies.

It doesn't belong to the Democrats.

It belongs to THE PEOPLE.

Every since he said that, it’s like people in Massachusetts woke up all of a sudden and realized it. Brown is going to win this race and that was the defining moment.

Did this line get much MSM media play? (I don’t have TV; I only heard the line on Fred Thompson’s podcast).

I agree, there are certain defining moments in every campaign and this was his.

It's the People's Seat

Tell that to ACORN, the SEIU and the Black Panthers. Already people are calling in radio talk shows to say their mail in ballots have been returned to them and there are articles stating thousands upon thousands of ineligble and deceased voters are still "registered" to vote, and the name Dybold is referenced.

The Thugocracy will NEVER lift a finger to correct voting fraud or inaccuraces when there is the promise of stolen votes to their side. Instead of "hope and change" the motto should have more accurately been "hypocracy and corruption." I hope ALL votes are counted reputably and the good decent people of Massachusetts make sure the thugs are jackbooted far from the polls and far from the counting of ballots.

personally I think Brown won this race at that moment. I think it kicked most voters in the head like a thunderbolt and they realized “Hey, this seat really ISN’T the personal property of the Kennedy Family”

I think he was just waiting for Coakley to say “Teddy Kennedy’s seat.”

I think the fact that it was a clueless MSM media lapdog that said it was even better.

That was his “You’re no Jack Kennedy” moment.

9/12 the in-your-face arrogant, DC Elitists ignored We The People

http://iowntheworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/capitol-view-lo-res.jpg

I pray that tomorrow We The People, by way of the Massachusetts voters, give these arrogant politicians a dose of reality; We The People will be cleaning garbage out of our government in November.

Pelosi vows to shove their DeathCare down our throats. We vow to throw her out of her Speaker seat come November. We will clean the sewer that is this Congress.

Yes, it exactly captures the spirit of “We, the People” as opposed to the Democrat’s motto of “Do it the Dems’ Way.”

I think you’re exactly correct, this line won him the race. It put the Democrats in an untenable position. To shut Brown out, they needed high D turnout, which in a special election meant stirring up their base. But to stir up their base, they had to keep talking about “Kennedy’s seat”—and every single time they said that, they reminded voters of Brown’s line. And even if the Democrats had avoided the line, the media kept referring to “Kennedy’s seat,” because that’s the big news hook for this race.

Just an absolutely brilliant line. I look forward to the book about Brown’s campaign, to find out how much of this was him versus his campaign manager, how much was planned versus impromptu.

Remember the crowds outside Gore’s house in DC while the recount was going on ,,where the chant was “GET OUT OF CHENEY’S HOUSE!”

I am willing to spend some time out in front of our statehouse, or if need be, go to DC
