WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Fewer Americans believe the presidency of Barack Obama, the first African American elected to the White House, has helped advance race relations compared with a year ago, a Washington Post-ABC News poll suggests.

The decline was the sharpest among African Americans, with 51 percent now saying Obama has helped advance race relations, compared with 75 percent who, last January, said they expected Obama's presidency to help.

His voters should look at his lavish party’s, frequent vacations and Michelle’s ugly, over priced wardrobe on every magazine cover and see these 2 for what they really are: Looters

And we should expect them to to stay low as long as people continue to refer to themselves as hypenated Americans.

You are either African or you are American; you cannot be both.

Race relations have taken a big setback. It has little to do with Obama’s race but his obvious marxist leanings aren’t flying well in much of the nation.

“...Obama’s inauguration a year ago who said his presidency would help race relations.”
Why would anyone believe that a racist muslim would help race relations?

the first African African

or the first American African

or even better the first Kenyan Brit..,

The ancestors of African Americans were from Africa, kidnapped and enslaved and brought to the US against their will...

Barry’s Daddy just got on a plane and flew here on his own without force of any kind...

Barry is not a typical “African-American”..

0bama’s ELECTION has set race relations back nearly a hundred years, but the fault isn’t 100% 0bama’s. He IS a racist that sees his whole role in gov’t to be enacting reparations.

But I think the racism and resentment has been there for generations - among black people. They’ve been indoctrinated for generations (by race pimps on the left, both black and white) that they can’t succeed because of whitey, and of course, that will breed hatred and resentment. Those feelings came to the surface when they felt “empowered” to do something about it when 0bama was elected. Most whites didn’t have a clue as to the depth of this resentment until it surfaced last year - I know I didn’t, I thought racism was pretty much a thing of the past that was just being used for democRat power.

It has always amazed me that anyone can waste 12 years of free education, by farting around in class, defying the teachers, and refusing to benefit, then sit around on their butt and moan because they can't get a decent job.

Illiterate white kids with bad attitudes and wierd haircuts have a rough time getting good jobs too.

You can't do much without some basic knowledge and many of these turkeys are unbelieveably ignorant.

“Fewer see Obama advancing racial ties”

These perceptions are based on personal bias and the partisan MSM’s marketing hype and little, if anything, to do with reality, based solely on feelings rather than concrete accomplishments. I don't know why they even bother to measure them; they're nebulous and instantly reversible.
